  1. The product was there on time and it brought many hours of enjoyment to my kids during our recent snow storms in the Northeast. We are a very competitive family and the younger kids are the high point scores. Many thanx Rating: 5 / 5

  2. The frame is poorly designed/engineered. The front bar has a warning about leaning or climbing on the item. What this really means is that if you set it up and put it in a corner it will look like a lot of fun to play, but if you actually play on it, it will break. The metal frame lasted only one game. On the second game, as my son was reaching for a ball, he slipped and leaned into the front metal bar which instantly collapsed. The game was unusable after that. Now, looking at the construction the flaw is obvious. There is absolutely no support for the front bar to support any amount of weight. If it didn’t break on the second game it would have done so soon after.

Since the backboard and rims seem fairly well built, I decided to build my own wood frame out of 2×4s. Works great now! I wish they sold the electronics, rims, and backboard seperately. Rating: 1 / 5

  3. I would not recommend this. It is not sturdy enough. There should be more support on the side. My kids have been playing for less than a day and the metal sides are both ready to snap. Keep searching for a better hoop. Once put together it looks kind of like the picture, but the ball catcher below the baskets is NOT that taut. Rating: 2 / 5

  4. This is a great game and probably a good value for the price. We had a lot of fun with our game. Sometimes the balls get stuck and this happened when a four year old bent the frame on one side. His weight was too much for the frame as he leaned in for the ball and transferred a lot of his weight onto the frame. Ultimately, the frame snapped in two on the left side of the game. We played it a lot in the 2 days we had it. Lots of fun and great competition. Wish it was more sturdy, stronger. It does bounce around the floor a bit when the balls are shooting and hitting the backboard and net. So much fun we are now looking for a much stronger, more permanent game. Rating: 2 / 5

  5. We purchased this game as a present for our son. Within 2 weeks the arm on the basket that keeps the score broke off. We tried several times to e-mail Franklin Sports for service and we could never get a reply from customer service or the Warranty department. It is sad for my son who’s game broke so quickly and we can not get it fixed. Rating: 4 / 5
